Well, I have to say that working through these LibGuides is very helpful. I'm gathering so much information as I go. I wonder, how much of this reference material should we incorporate in our project? I guess we'll learn that as we go along. I'm also wondering what and when I should be observing at work. It seems that some of the information is in little bite-sized conversations when just a few comments are made. I'm afraid I won't have enough material.
On a side note, I just thought of another interesting topic but I'm not sure it could lend itself to this type of study. What do you think of the new internet "counseling"? Some places offer that you don't ever have to meet with the counselor, you just email back and forth. I wonder how effective this is? You lose so much of the interaction and give-and-take information that takes place during an in-person conversation. Maybe in the course of the grad studies I'll have a chance to look into all of these other topics. I'm a very curious person...
